La1 5 is one of the most diverse and interesting postcodes in Lancaster.  Often described as a postman's nightmare,  this is the only postcode that crosses the river!LA1 5 covers Scale Hall,  parts of St Georges Quay and the new Riverview development,  Marsh, Fairfield,  Abraham Heights and Haverbreaks.
Welcome to LA1 5

This is a postcode which has one of Lancaster’s highest price regions, yet under 2 miles away in the same postcode, is one of Lancaster cheapest areas.   Homes that feature in LA1 range from 1-bed apartments all the way through to some largest homes in the city.

Throughout the month we will focus on these different areas.  We’ll look at the amenities in the area,  the open green spaces which include the Nature Reserve and Millenium Park.   Jody will feature her favourite walks ( she lives in this area) and we’ll look at the schools and why families like the area so much.  Josh will spotlight on the history and excellent buy to let deals that LA1 5 offers.
