As you may know, we are now into the 2nd week of the Government's newly rolled out 'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme. This scheme was introduced to kick start the local economy and most notably the food and hospitality industry which has been impacted following the recent months of Lockdown during the COVID 19 pandemic. Last week we focused on the Cafes and Restaurants participating in Lancaster and this week we turn our attentions to its neighbouring coast of Morecambe and Heysham.

This month our focus shifts to the beautiful coastal postcode of LA3. Over the course of the month, we will be looking at lots of different aspects of this area ranging from the amazing green spaces to business and industry as well as the popular streets and great investments. Welcome to Heysham,  a beautiful coastal village set at Morecambe Bay.   Many people when they think of Morecambe, think of the Power Station and Heysham Port - two large industrial employers in the area.   However, Heysham is far more than that.  This is a village with a fascinating history that dates back to Viking Times.  It is a village which overlooks the beautiful Morecambe Bay and since the opening of the Bay Gateway in October 2016, it has been one of the areas most popular places to live.

LA3 is a diverse postcode area with a vast variety of property types that can appeal to a range of different tenants. Josh takes a drive around the area to look at the various properties available, their prices and the benefits of investing in that area.

The first thing I am going to say is that living at Sunderland Point is not for everyone.   This is most probably one of the most unique and unusual communities in the UK, let alone Morecambe.   

Many people fall in love with the beauty, the wilderness,  the nature and on a calm warm Summer day, the tranquillity.    Few can cope with the reality of what living here really means and entails.   Those that fall in love with the area though rarely leave. 

As part of our guide to life in LA3, we thought we would take a look at the local property prices and how they changed over the years. LA3 is quite a large area, so for this article, we are focusing on Heysham.
