This time on our analysis of Property Academy’s Renter Survey 2022, we are looking at the topic of Location, Location, Location. The data is clear that the thing tenants are least likely to compromise on is the location of the property. This can be for a whole host of reasons but what it tells us as agents is that it is a key factor that needs to be consider for all new properties.

You may be able to snap up a cheap deal with the potential for high returns but always do your research to see if the demand is there for the area you are look – particularly if you have a certain kind of tenant in mind.

These can be physical things such as parking or sound proofing but it also includes your own opinions such as allowing pets or offering the property with furniture. The extras we can offer and add as agents can also have an effect on the tenant journey and attract tenants to certain properties. Renter Survey – Ep. 5 – Reputation Matters

In our final look at the 2022 Renter Survey by Property Academy, in association with Dataloft, we focus on the topic of ‘Reputation Matters’ Reputation is so important and takes a long time to build. We have worked tirelessly to maintain a good reputation through exceptional customer service and high standards. 

The statistics show that the reputation of the agents, landlords and the various aspects of customer service they provide are seriously considered by tenants and also offer insights in where we need to improve. Constant improvement and adaptation to change is key to stand out from the crowd.

Our journey at analysing this survey has really brought to light, the many considerations landlord need to have when considering an investment property and for us, as agents, how we can best market that asset and offer useful advice.
