The Ground Floor
The cottage enters into a spacious living room, which has relaxing neutral decor and a cosy wood burner. Stairs lead up from here to the first floor. The inglenook fireplace and exposed beam display a little of the history and character of the home. The deep window sill and wooden double glazed sash window looks out to the front of the property towards the front garden.
The kitchen-diner is also a spacious room, with a modern, white fitted kitchen and space to dine. A little about the history
Bronte cottages once made up part of Cowan Bridge School that was attended by the Bronte sisters.
The cottages are thought to have been part of the sleeping quarters to the school.
