The spacious apartment
As you enter the apartment through the main communal door( which is key or code access) you will take the steps to the second floor and find the apartment here. The vestibule is a great bonus to the home as you can hang coats and shoes out of the way leaving room in the hallway for a side unit.
The hallway leads off to the living room, dining room and kitchen and then on to the two bedrooms and finally the family bathroom.
The living room, kitchen and dining room are open plan and I love the fact there is not only the kitchen window but there is also a patio door which lead you to the balcony. Such a large amount of light bounces through this room and you can even see across the Bay on a clear day. The kitchen offers space for an under counter fridge and freezer and plumbing for a washing machine. The hob is gas and the oven is electric with a stainless steel coooker hood and splash back. The units are a soft oak effect and work tops are cream.
The current owners have created a space for a dining table and chairs to sit and eat along with a breakfast bar for a quick bite before you leave for work and school.
The master bedroom is long and thin with plenty of room for furniture and a double bed. Off the bedroom is the master en-suite which has a walk in shower tiled floor to ceiling and a basin with W/C. The promenade runs all the way in one direction to higher Heysham and the other direction takes you all the way to Hest Bank. You really cannot beat a Morecambe Bay view ....you may even see the fisherman gathering local shrimps for restaurants and his own fishmongers!
The parking and communal area
Parking for this apartment is number 80 and can be located towards the end to the right. There is a communal store where you leave and empty your bins to be collected.
Although there isn't any outside space, there is a balcony here which the owners have laid with artificial grass to brighten the outside area up.
You can fit a table and a couple of chairs on here if you wish to sit out. If not, just open the patio doors and let the fresh air fill the room.
