Mill Lane, Halton, Lancaster

A little bit about the surrounding area

Halton is a very popular village with the equally popular and sought after St Wilfred's primary school. The River Lune runs through Halton and there is an abundance of wildlife in the surrounding woodlands and fields.
Halton itself has a number of shops such as a fish and chip shop, hairdressers, butchers, convenience store, three churches to mention just a few. The M6 and bay Gateway can be accessed easily also.
Across the road from this home there is a park for the children surrounded by a gate so it is very safe and secure. A short stroll away is a skate park for the older children and a community centre. It really is a very friendly and family orientated village.

A little bit about the home

As you step through the front door you will find a door which allows access to the garage, the downstairs bathroom and the open plan living room, kitchen and diner.

Patio doors allow you to gain access off the kitchen into the garden. This room is filled with light thanks to the extra windows in the dining area, giving the look and feel of a conservatory with all the light it allows in.

The first floor takes you to the bedrooms and the gorgeous bathroom. There is a balcony set just off what the current owners are using as the upstairs living room .

The balcony floor is decked and allows for some patio furniture where you can sit and relax after a days work or in the weekend sunshine.

The open plan ground floor living

Welcome , come on in. This home oozes sophistication throughout with beautiful wooden flooring, giving a very classy look and feel.

The integrated garage is to the right and houses a utility area, a sink, some units , light and power. The downstairs bathroom is the next room you approach and is tiled floor to ceiling with wooden floor which compliments.

The open plan lounge/diner and kitchen is spacious, light airy and feels extremely cozy.

The integrated NEFF appliances include microwave hob and oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The units are in high white gloss and I am sure you will agree this is uncompromising in quality and style. The washing machine and the dryer are in the garage out of the way.

The first floor living

The first floor is just as impressive as the ground floor and the glass windows that are full length and frosted half way up meaning this floor is flooded with light.

The living room which can be doubled up as a bedroom is a fantastic size with a door taking you to the balcony where the flooring is decked in timber.

The second bedroom is a double to the back of the home and over looks the garden. The third bedroom is currently being used as an office for the current owners but would easily accommodate a double bed.

The family bathroom here happens to be one of my favourite bathrooms. The greys, sage's and wood compliment beautifully together.... I am sure you will agree!

The back garden and driveway

The front of the home is paved and is big enough for two cars to be parked . The back garden is a nice manageable size where a gate at the back allows for access for your bins etc.
