What we like...

We love the fact that this bungalow was once a true bungalow built in the 1960's however the owner converted the large loft space to create three upstairs rooms which is a real bonus.

A little about the home

As you enter this home from the main side elevation you will find yourself in the rather spacious hallway which has access to the rooms available and the stairs up to the first floor.

The main living room is to the front of the home and overlooks the well maintained garden area. The ground floor also features two great sized double bedrooms, a kitchen which has space to dine, a utility space and a walk in wet room.

Upstairs to the first floor there are two further bedrooms which are a generous size and the room to the rear has a great aspect overlooking the garden and the open fields beyond. The main bathroom can also be found up here which has been fitted with a four piece suite. Buyers will find that the home is both double glazed and gas central heated. Externally there are low maintenance gardens to both the front and rear and there is a long driveway providing off road parking.

The living accommodation

As you step inside this home you will firstly find yourself in the hallway which has a real bright and airy feel. Originally the hallway was a long L-Shaped area but the owner has moved the ground floor bathroom to help create a welcoming entrance and here there are the stairs up to the first floor.

The main living room is to the front of the home and offers a gas fire to the centre of the room with a stone surround with further heat provided from the central heating system. The room offers plenty of space for all the furniture you would expect to have and from the large double glazed window you can look out onto your low maintenance garden at the front of the home. The ground floor also features a great sized kitchen.

Once you are through to the kitchen you will find that there is plenty of storage available for all of your kitchen items. There is also plenty of work space on offer for those who love to cook. There is space for your white goods available along with room for a gas cooker. The kitchen also allows ample space to add in your very own dining table if you so wish so you can sit down and enjoy your meals with the family. Just off the kitchen is the rear vestibule which allows access to the outside space to both the side of the home and into the rear garden. This area also has a further doorway which leads you into the utility room where you will find the plumbing for the washing machine and further storage space is also available.

The landing area

Once you are up to the first floor landing you will find that this space offers access to the rooms available along with a hatch which opens up into the loft storage area. The landing also features a built i cupboard over the stairs which hides away the recently fitted boiler for the home. A further cupboard on the landing is available to hide away your towels and bedding etc.

Bedrooms and bathroom

On the ground floor you will find two large double bedrooms whilst up to the first floor there are two further bedrooms.

The main bedroom is on the ground floor to the front of the home and this generous sized double room has plenty of space for everything you would expect to have. The second bedroom on the ground floor is also a generous sized double room which looks into the rear paved garden area. Once you are up to the first floor you will see that there is another double bedroom to the front of the home which could be used for a variety of purposes depending on your needs. There is a further bedroom on the first floor which is back to the rear of the home and has a great aspect overlooking the garden and to the farmers filed beyond where you can often see horses, cattle and sheep.

To the ground floor the owner has created a walk in wet room which has a tiled shower area and there is a low flush wc and a hand wash basin on offer. This space can be found to the far end of the ground floor in the extension. Back up to the first floor there is a generous sized four piece bathroom. Here you will find a bath with a separate electric shower to offer you the best of both worlds. There is also a frosted double glazed window to allow in natural light.

Outside space

To the front of the home there is a driveway which provides off road parking and leads up past the side of the home. The front garden itself has been made a low maintenance area with tiered flagged areas allowing space to add your very own potted plants to add a little colour if you so wish.

Once you are round to the rear of the home you will see that the garden is a lovely and private space over different levels. There is a flagged patio area to the bottom level which offers a timber built storage shed for your gardening bits and pieces. This space then steps up to the middle tier where you will find a further flagged patio space where you could sit and relax along with a further decked seating space. This then leads you onto the lawned garden space where you can finally step up to the final patio area.

The rear garden has walled boundaries and back directly onto the farmers field which often has horses, cattle or sheep in which we feel is a lovely feature.
