The Marsh is a residential area of Lancaster that is close to both the Railway Station and only a short walk from the city centre. What we like

The home offers larger than average rooms here on Willow lane. From the spacious hallway through to the open plan kitchen diner and bedrooms upstairs, two of which are doubles, this home is a great size for a young family to start out on the property ladder.

Ground Floor

As you step through the spacious hallway you will find a handy storage cupboard under the stairs and the stairs to the first floor. To the right, you are into the dining room which is open plan to the kitchen. Double wooden doors separate the living room from the dining room room but there is the option there to have the doors open to have all 3 rooms flowing into one another.
The living room offers a lovely gas effect fire sitting in beautiful tiles and an oak effect fireplace. There is also a bay window in the living room giving the room a much bigger feel. Beige carpet runs throughout.
The dining room is open plan to the kitchen. Laminate flooring runs through both rooms and a large window allows the light to beam through the window creating a light airey space to sit and eat dinner.

First floor

As you reach the top of the stairs you will find a spacious landing where the current owner has a chair to add a little character to the space. Grey tiles makes for a lovely contrast to the bathroom suite and the floor to ceiling tiling which is also in white giving a lovely bright feel to the room. A perfect place to sit and soak.

The Garden

Once you have accessed the garden from the kitchen you will find a patio area on dual level. A lovely space to sit and play with the children. Plants and shrubbery will brighten the area up and create a nice space to relax with he family.
