Campbell Drive, Highwood - Is this possibly the best position on Highwood?

About the location

Even as you drive down the block paved drive, you'll notice just how green and lush High Wood is, it's what makes this development special and rather unique in comparision to other new build homes. Highwood feels private and secluded yet in reality it just 10 minutes from the historic city centre of Lancaster. Williamson Park could be classed as one of it's neighbours.

Local residents enjoy the convenience High Wood offers. Excellent local schools including Lancaster Royal Grammar School are in the vicinity. It is easy to reach the university without having to go through the city. Junction 34 of the M6 is just short drive.

What we like...

We have to say that we were impressed with the finish this home offers and the tasteful decoration throughout allows you to be able to move straight in without any worries. What a really lovely family home this is.

A little about the home

Built by Storey Homes on the High Wood development on a quiet cul de sac stands this semi detached home on Campbell Drive. Once inside you will see that the hallway offers access to all the ground floor rooms including a rather handy wc.

The lounge has a pleasing aspect to the front of the home and the kitchen allows ample space to add your own dining table if you so wish. Access to the private rear garden can also be gained from here. Once you are upstairs you will see that there are three bedrooms with the master overlooking the front of the home. The bathroom has been fitted with a stylish three piece suite and the room has been partially tiled.

Externally the home boasts off road parking to the front of the home and there is a private garden to the rear which is not overlooked allowing space for all the family to enjoy throughout the year. As you would expect the home is both double glazed and gas central heated throughout.

Come on in...

Stepping through the front door of this semi detached home will firstly lead you into the hallway which has been decorated in soft, neutral tones which continues throughout the home. The staircase is just on your right hand side and there is a built in cupboard below to hide away your bits and pieces. The hallway also has access to all the ground floor rooms along with a ground floor wc which will come in handy for when you have your family and friends around.

The main living room has been well presented and looks out over the front of the home towards the mature trees. This is the perfect place where you can relax and unwind after a long hard days work. To the the rear of the home is where you will find the kitchen which offers enough space to dine. The kitchen has been fitted with a good range of built in storage along with some integrated appliances including the fridge/freezer, an electric oven and a four ring gas hob complete with extractor fan. The dining area allows enough space for a generous sized table so you can sit down in the evenings to enjoy your meals with the family. Double glazed French style doors lead out to the rear garden from here.

Lets go upstairs...

Once you have finished viewing the downstairs we can go up to the first floor. The landing area allows access to all the rooms available a\long with a hatch which will open to the loft storage area.

Buyers will find the master bedroom is to the front of the property and offers enough space for a double bed and the furniture you would expect to have. The room also features a rather handy en-suite shower room which offers a double walk in shower cubicle. The second bedroom enjoys a pleasing aspect looking out over the rear garden whilst the third bedroom is at the back of the home. All three bedrooms have been well presented and sees the continuation of the neutral decoration from downstairs.

Finally inside there is of course the main bathroom. This room has been fitted with a contemporary three piece suite in white and the walls have been partially tiled completed with a decorative border to complement. A frosted double glazed window helps to give the room a bright and airy feel.

Outside space

To the front of the home you will see that there is off road parking available for up to two vehicles. Gated access down the side of the home will lead you around to the rear. Thanks to the property being towards the end of a small cul de sac you will be able to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Once you are round to the rear of the home you will discover a generous sized garden which will be great for all the family to enjoy throughout the year. There is a raised flagged patio where you could enjoy the summer sunshine and from here there are steps down to a lawned garden area where the kids could play. To the far end of the garden is a decked seating area in the corner and the boundaries are formed by timber fencing all round making this a secure and enclosed space.
