For those who like the outdoor life, there are riverside walks and a cycle path close to hand that can take you directly to the city of Lancaster or out into the Forest of Bowland, which offers a wide variety of wildlife.
The ground floor

Halton Mill, a converted historical mill built in the late 19th Century, is situated on Mill Lane and owned by Lancaster Cohousing. It is a low carbon venue offering hot-desking, offices, studios, and workshop space plus meeting, teaching and rehearsal space for rent. The current owners rent an office in the building.
