St Oswald Street is a popular street only 5 minutes south of the city centre on the edge of Bowerham. It's a great street, mainly featuring bay fronted period homes with these apartments at the top of the street. Residents enjoy the views, looking out over tree lined gardens of the university grounds.
Close by are key employers (university and hospital). Excellent local schools are also close by, making this area popular with both families and professional couples.
What we like...
We were impressed with the spacious living room which has a very pleasing aspect out towards the grassy and tree lined area opposite. This room has a real bright and airy feel and will be where you will spend most of your time.
A brief description
As you enter this building from the main communal entrance you will find apartment 3 on your right hand side. Once inside the property the hallway provides access to all the rooms available along with built in storage and space for your bits and pieces. The main living room is a great size which has a bright and airy feel thanks to the large double glazed window. Buyers will find the kitchen looks out to the side elevation and also has space to add your very own dining table if you so wish.
The master bedroom i a generous sized double room whilst the second bedroom would make an ideal spare bedroom or study depending on your needs. Finally inside there is a three piece bathroom suite in white which features a shower above the bath.
The living accommodation
The hallway has plenty of space where you can hang your coats and store your shoes before you step through to the main living area. To the far end of the hallway there is a great sized built in storage cupboard for your hoover and ironing board etc.
The main living room is a wonderful sized room where you can sit and relax in the evenings, or entertain your guests when they visit. The room looks out over the front of the property towards the grassy area with a pathway which leads you through the grounds of the University of Cumbria. You will see that the lounge has been decorated in a neutral fashion so any style of furniture you may well have should fit right in.
Opposite the living room is the kitchen which has been fitted with a great range of built in storage along with ample work space for those who love to cook. There is room for all the white goods you would expect to have along with space for an electric cooker. This room has also has enough space to add in your very own dining table so you could sit and enjoy your evening meals.
Bedrooms & Bathroom
The master bedroom is a great sized double room which has the same outlook as the living room onto the open grassy area. There is plenty of space to add in all the furniture you would expect to have. You will find that the second bedroom is to the rear of property. This well proportioned room would make the perfect spare bedroom or maybe even a study room depending on your personal needs.
