What we like...
We are really impressed with this home. From the decor to the space, there is really so much on offer. The bathroom is really spacious with a modern four piece white suite which is simply wonderful as you will no doubt see.
A brief description
As you step inside the porch has retained its original tiled floor which leads you through to the entrance hall. The main living space has been made open plan to the dining area with the living area offering a multi fuel stove set in an Inglenook stone fireplace. The kitchen has been fitted with a modern kitchen which has ample storage and access through to a rather handy utility room.
Up to the first floor you will discover two double bedrooms along with the fantastic sized four piece bathroom. The owners have also added a fixed staircase which leads you up to the floored loft area which is a great addition to this home.
Externally there is a low maintenance courtyard style frontage whilst round to the side there is an enclosed walled yard with access to some outside storage area. The property has also been fully double glazed and gas central heated.
Ground floor rooms
The main entrance to the front of the home opens up into a well appointed porch which features the original mosaic tiled floor which buyers will love. This space then leads through to the hallway which has been decorated in a neutral style and allows you space to store your coats and shoes before stepping through to the main living room.
The owners actually use the front reception room as their dining room allowing you ample space to entertain your family and friends or to simply sit down and enjoy your evening meals. There is a double glazed bay window to the front elevation and the room has a real bright and airy feel. Open plan to this room is the main living area for the home. The lounge has a real cosy feel thanks to the multi fuel stove to the centre of the room set inside the Inglenook fireplace. Once again the decoration is neutral and will go with any style of furniture you have. This room looks out over the front of the home and access into the kitchen can be gained from here.
To the far end of the ground floor is the generous sized fitted kitchen which has plenty of built in storage on offer for all your bits and pieces. There is also plenty of work space for those who love to cook. There are several built in appliances including a fridge/freezer a gas hob and a double electric oven. The floor has been tiled which continues through to the utility area which is separate to the kitchen. The utility room has space for a tumble dryer and also your washing machine. There are double glazed windows which look out to the side of the home. Access out to the rear can be gained from the kitchen.
Once you are up to the first floor you will find yourself on the landing which has access to all the rooms available along with a further flight of stairs up to the loft space.
Buyers will find that the master bedroom is to the front of the home. This wonderful sized double bedroom has been well presented with feature decorated walls either side of the chimney breast. Ample space is on offer for all the furniture you will require. The second bedroom is also large enough to accommodate a double bed if you so wish and overlooks the rear of the home. Once again this room has been well presented and will appeal to many buyers.
Also to the first floor is a really generous sized bathroom which has been fitted with a four piece bathroom suite including a separate walk in shower cubicle. The room has been partially tiled to complement and there is a frosted double glazed window to the rear elevation. This room also features a built in storage cupboard which houses the boiler for the home.
Finally there are stairs up to the loft space, you will see that this area has been fully floored and has a double glazed Velux window to the rear elevation along with the crisp white decor helps to give the room a bright and airy feel. Although there are no building regs for this area it does take a great storage space.
To the front of the home there is a timber gate which opens up into the walled courtyard style area which is low maintenance. A pathway will lead you up to the utility room.
Once you are round to the rear of the property you will find yourself in the enclosed walled yard where you could sit out and relax during the warmer months. At the end of the home attached to the rear of the utility room is a handy outside storage facility which offers both power and light.
- Council Tax Band B - The kitchen, bathroom and boiler were all new in 2011 - The outhouse to the rear does have power and light - Damp proof course 2011 - Staircase and loft space floored approx 4.5 years ago
