What we like
"Cambridge Avenue is such a light and bright home. It sits on a generous size plot with ample greenery surrounding. What we really love though is the potential this home offers.
About this home
Cambridge Avenue is an individually designed detached home. It has had just one owner since it was first built as a family home in 1978, designed to the families own specification. The design is unique, with flexible living spaces or the option to have a dependent relative live with you, hence the ground floor shower room.
Throughout you'll find a spacious home which is light and bright. The bedrooms are generous, the main living room large. Set on a large plot and surrounded in greenery, this is a home with ample parking and huge potential. We have some great ideas for this home!
The ground floor
Enter into the main hallway. All of the main ground floor reception rooms are set off. There's useful storage under the stairs. The spacious lounge is ideal for the whole family to relax. The decor is soft, in neutral cream, giving a blank canvas. A large double glazed window looks out the front offering views down the street in front.
The kitchen is located to the rear. It is fitted with traditional styled units, a gas cooker and has outlook over the garden - not a bad view to enjoy whilst you clean the dishes! The kitchen is adjacent to the dining room. We would take the wall down and create a fabulous space for the family to gather. Patio doors already open out onto the rear garden.
The 3rd reception room could also be used as a 3rd bedroom. It was designed to be a bedroom by the current owners, hence there is a ground floor shower room adjacent with sep wc. It is located to the front of the home. This room would also make a great home office or even children's playroom.
The first floor
To the first floor there are two large double bedrooms, the 2nd of which has fabulous views over the allotments. Where this home becomes exciting though is the two large walk-in loft areas behind these bedrooms.
Cambridge Avenue has a large garage with an up and over door. The garage has both power and light and a water supply.
Outside the home
Cambridge Avenue is set on a generous plot with garden areas to the front and rear. The rear gardens faces west and has been laid to lawn with mature planted areas providing seasonal colour. There is ample parking for several vehicles, even the space to keep a caravan.
