What we like...
There really is so much to like about this home. From the tasteful, modern decor through to the wonderful views towards the Lakes. We simply love this home.
A brief description
The main front entrance opens into the hallway which has access to all the ground floor rooms. The main living room looks out over the front of the home as does the ground floor double bedroom. There is also a modern fitted kitchen, a three piece bathroom and another sitting room which has access to the first floor.
Once you are upstairs you will find that there is ample storage available along with two bedrooms which offer wonderful views out towards the Lake District hills. The first floor also has a rather spacious three piece shower room.
Externally there is ample parking and a low maintenance garden to the front of the home whilst round to the rear there is a well maintained and private garden. The rear garden also offers storage and a home office/workshop which includes a fitted sauna.
The ground floor
As you step inside this home from the main front entrance you will find yourself in a small porch which houses the meters for the home and a doorway opens up into the hallway. The hall has been very well presented and features an oak style flooring which runs throughout the majority of the ground floor.
The main living room has been really well presented and looks out over the front of the home. To the centre of the room is a living flame coal effect gas fire which has a contemporary surround. The room has been decorated in a neutral fashion which helps to create a real bright and airy feel. There is also a double bedroom to the front of the home which has been decorated in a similar fashion. This room is a rather generous size and will appeal to many buyers.
To the rear of the ground floor is a modern fitted kitchen which has space for all the expected white goods. There is also plumbing for both a dishwasher and a washing machine. Ample storage is available in the kitchen which will no doubt come in handy and there is ample work space on offer. There is a dual aspect in the kitchen to both the side and rear of the home along with access to the outside space also.
The ground floor also offers a further sitting room which the owner has also use as a dining room and there is access to the first floor from here with storage below and there is also a further door opening to the rear garden. Finally the ground floor offers a modern three piece bathroom suite in white which has an electric shower above to offer you the best of both worlds. The room has also been tiled to complement with a frosted double glazed window to the rear elevation.
Up to the first floor
Once you are up to the first floor landing you will see that there is access to all the rooms available on this level and there is direct access into a large storage cupboard in the eaves which also has a light.
The master bedroom is to the far end of the landing and has a wonderful bright and airy feel thanks to the two double glazed windows to both the side and rear of the home. The rear window offers wonderful views towards the Lake District hills and provides wonderful sun sets on clear days. This spacious double room also offers built in storage which will come in handy. The third bedroom in this home is a single room which also has the same aspect at the rear as the master bedroom and as you would expect has been tastefully presented.
Finally on the first floor is the very spacious three piece shower room which is a true delight. There is even enough space to place a bath and the pipework is there should you wish to add one. The room has been fully tiled, including the floor for ease of cleaning and provides a touch of quality.
To the front of the home there is a low maintenance garden area which will be easy to look after. A variety of mature trees and shrubs will provide you with extra colour. Off road parking is also available for several vehicles if needed.
Once you are round to the rear you will discover a secluded garden which has been well designed. The flagged patio seating area is an ideal space to sit and enjoy the afternoon sunshine thanks to it's west facing position. There is plenty of space to add your own pots and there is access to a handy outbuilding which offers a few surprises itself.
The storage area outside is a great space to hide away all your bits and pieces, bikes or gardening tools. This then has a doorway through to what the current owner uses as a work room. With it's own double glazed window looking out to the garden, this would make the perfect home office. There is also a fitted infrared sauna which will be included in the sale in this space.
